The annual Access Self Storage Easter egg appeal is open to the people of Stevenage for the very first time. This year the campaign - which has seen more than 2,800 chocolate eggs given to dozens of charities since it launched in 2011 - will benefit Access Self Storage Stevenage’s nominated charity: Stevenage Haven

Stevenage Haven was selected by Austin's Family Funeral Directors to be their charity of 2016. Hertfordshire Community Foundation, who manage a charitable fund for Austin's, issued the following press release about the charity of the year donation to Stevenage Haven.

The cold weather provision at Stevenage Haven has been operating for over 7 years; this year is no exception.

If you are concerned about someone sleeping rough, Street Link can help connect them to local services. Visit Street Link or call 0300 500 0914

A former resident from Stevenage Haven has, through support from staff at the charity, secured a labouring job with Airey Millar working on the new hostel development project.

On 25 March 2015, we were informed that our application for registration with the Regulator of Social Housing, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), had been successful.

Stevenage Haven has received funding from North Herts District Council as part of a countywide health project starting in April 2015.

The Trustees of the UIA Insurance Ltd fund held at Hertfordshire Community Foundation are providing Stevenage Haven with funding of nearly £5,000. This will make a significant contribution towards the cost of IT equipment for our new training suite for clients due to open at the end of 2015.

Stevenage Haven has secured funding from Herts County Council's Building Community Resilience Programme which is part of the current HWAS scheme.

We are pleased to announce that on 1st July 2014, Stevenage Haven took over service delivery at North Herts Sanctuary in Hitchin.

Working with other agencies, we provide emergency accommodation and support services to homeless single people in Hertfordshire.
Our hostels provide a lifeline to single people experiencing homelessness who are over 18 but do not fall within the statutory duty of care of local authorities.
